In May 2018, Jean Hailes for Women's Health travelled to Ballarat and Geelong to present 'Women's Stuff', a night of fun, facts and the latest in women's health.
The free events gave women from these regions access to some of Australia's most experienced clinicians and health professionals with the latest evidence-based health information. Attendees were also able to connect with local health organisations, book appointments and find out what services and resources they could access.
Hosted by celebrated comedian and Jean Hailes ambassador Nelly Thomas, the evening's presentations focused on topics such as food as medicine, menopause, pelvic floor fitness, sexual health and women's health checks.
Both events were filled to capacity, and offered a relaxed and informal way for local women to learn about today's big health issues as well as ways to improve and manage health, both now and into the future.
The full recording of the Geelong event is now available to watch below. If you'd prefer to watch the three Jean Hailes presentations, we have included the slides in the videos so you won't miss a thing.
Women were invited to pose a health question upon registering. There were so many great questions that our health experts couldn't answer them all on the nights, so here we have also provided a more extensive list of questions and answers from the panel. Access the PDF to view all the Q&A responses.
