Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with the Sisterhood Foundation, as part of their new focus on the health and wellbeing issues faced by Australian women and girls.
The Sisterhood Foundation has raised more than $10 million over 13 years, with its purpose being to hear, acknowledge and address the unique health issues impacting women by building capability in frontline charities, including Jean Hailes for Women’s Health.
Dr. Sarah White says the partnership and capability grant from the Sisterhood Foundation will be a gamechanger for all women who want access to practical, usable health information tailored to their unique circumstances.
"We could not be more excited to partner with the Sisterhood Foundation and thus be able to take an enormous step forward in ensuring all women, and particularly women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, can find and use knowledge to meet their unique health needs at every stage of life,” said Dr White.
“This partnership will allow us to do even more to deliver on our purpose of empowering women to enjoy their best health and wellbeing at every life stage, through gathering and synthesizing insights from individual women, communities, clinicians and the population at large, to shaping and mobilising knowledge for women, health care professionals and policymakers to use.”
Jean Hailes for Women’s Health joins Smiling Mind, Her Heart and Share the Dignity as one of the Sisterhood Foundation’s new Charity Partners.
“The Sisterhood Foundation has a proud history of supporting Australian women and their families,” said Emily Amos, Chair of the Sisterhood Foundation and Managing Director of Wesfarmers Health.
“This exciting next chapter will further strengthen the Sisterhood’s impact and empower our new and existing Charity Partners to keep growing and supporting women and girls across the country”.
Stay tuned to find out more about this exciting partnership.
