Do you feel uncertain about using hormone therapy to cope with menopausal symptoms? Are you concerned that you’re losing your sex drive? What can you do to control your hot flushes? Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is asking women across Australia their burning questions on menopause, and we’re going to make sure they’re answered by the world’s leading experts.

We’ve been invited – by the International Menopause Society (IMS) – to be a community education partner for the World Congress on Menopause, to be held in Melbourne this October.

We’re going to use this opportunity to bring you expert responses to your top questions. Our ‘Ask a menopause expert’ sessions will be recorded and released on our social media channels for World Menopause Month throughout October.

As an organisation with decades of experience in menopause education and care, we’re delighted to be involved. “Our World Menopause Month campaign is a unique opportunity for women to hear about breaking research from international leaders in menopause,” says Dr Sarah White, our CEO.

“‘Ask a menopause expert’ gives women the opportunity to find out about the very latest in menopause care – and how it affects them – so they have the knowledge they need to make real choices for their own health and wellbeing.”

President of the IMS Professor Nick Panay says: “We’re delighted that Jean Hailes has agreed to be a community partner for the World Congress. Their reputation and work in health information and advocacy for menopause is internationally renowned.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the expertise and knowledge of our IMS members being connected with women around Australia.”
