Tom has more than 15 years' experience in both industry and management consulting, specialising in strategy, commercial, finance and transformation.
Tom was most recently a Senior Manager and Chief of Staff (Australia) at L.E.K. Consulting, a global management consulting firm where he supported clients in the Mining, Energy & Industrials sectors across strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and performance improvement. Prior to this, Tom worked for South32 and BHP in commercial leadership roles.
Tom is passionate about supporting the organisation that was founded in honour of his grandmother, Dr Jean Hailes. He acted in an interim management role at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health (during Covid) as Chief Operating Officer in charge of the medical clinics, IT and commercial functions.
Tom holds a first-class honours degree in engineering (chemical) and a degree in commerce, both from the University of Melbourne.
