When is Women's Health Week?
Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week occurs every year at the start of September. In 2025 it will run from 1 to 5 September.
Who runs Women’s Health Week?
The Women’s Health Week campaign is owned and run by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health.
What happens when I sign up to Women’s Health Week?
After signing up to Women’s Health Week you will receive regular emails from Jean Hailes with helpful updates, tips to get involved in the week and women’s health information. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Does Jean Hailes run or host events during Women's health Week?
No, we don’t run or host events during Women’s Health Week. We manage the registration process and promote the week. We love seeing individuals and workplaces take the lead in creating events that work best for their communities.
Can I use the Women’s Health Week logo to promote my event?
We love that you want to get involved and spread the word! While the Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week logo is trademarked and can only be used by our official partners, we’ve got you covered with a range of ready-to-go materials to help promote your event. Our promotional kit includes social media tiles, posters and messages that you’re welcome to use.
Can I hold my event outside of the Women’s Health Week dates?
Absolutely! While Women’s Health Week takes place in September, you’re more than welcome to hold events at any time of the year. We’re all for keeping the conversation about women’s health going, no matter the date!
Do you have any free promotional material I can download for my event?
Yes, we’ve created a heap of free promotional materials to help you spread the word about your event – from social media tiles to posters and sample messages. You’ll find it all in our promotional kit, and it’s there for you to use anytime.
Can I use your health resources and content at my event?
Visit the Resources page on our website to download free health resources.
You can also promote and link to our articles and other health content. To get permission from us to republish our content on your own channels, please contact [email protected].
Can I fundraise?
Donations for Jean Hailes Foundation can be raised during Women’s Health Week. However, if you are undertaking a major fundraising campaign in our organisation’s name, please contact us. As a condition of event registration, event hosts are prohibited from raising funds for other organisations during their Women’s Health Week event.
Registering for Women's Health Week
When do registrations open and close?
Event registrations will open 15 April 2025.
When do bags orders open and close?
Our new bags will be available mid 2025.
What will I receive when I become an event host?
We provide event hosts with:
access to free educational resources for your event
priority access to order Women’s Health Week bags (while stocks last)
free promotional kits and materials, including social media tiles, posters and more.
I’ve never hosted an event before. Can you give me some ideas?
Women’s Health Week events can be face-to-face or online, social or educational. As long as there is a focus on women’s health and wellbeing, the sky’s the limit. Some people host morning teas, community walks, seminars or yoga sessions. We recommend choosing something you would love to do yourself.
Will everyone see my event details online?
We've removed event listings from our website in 2025. If you're holding a public event, we encourage you to list it on EventBrite (and tag it with #womenshealthweek) or your website. You can let us know the link to your event when you complete the registration form.
Bags and resource orders
How do I order Women’s Health Week bags?
Our 2025 bags will be available to order mid 2025. If you've registered for Women's Health Week, we'll let you know as soon as they are available.
When do I need to order resources by?
To make sure your order arrives in time for Women's Health Week, please make sure you submit it by COB Friday 15 August 2025. Due to large numbers of orders at this time, deliveries can take up to 10 days.
What happens if I can’t afford postage costs for resources or bags?
Please contact [email protected] or 03 9453 8999 if costs are of concern.
How will my bags be delivered?
When ordering your bags, please supply a valid and up-to-date address.
Bags will be dispatched with ‘authority to leave’, so if you’re not home, please ensure you have a safe place available for the delivery to be left.
If there is no one at home during business hours, consider having your delivery sent to your workplace.
If you’re using a PO Box, your order will be sent via Australia Post and can take up to eight to 10 days to deliver.
Is there anything in the bags?
Resources are not provided with the bags. Please visit the Jean Hailes Shop to order print materials or download online resources for free. Postage and handling fees apply to all print materials.
When will my bags arrive?
After placing your order, bags are dispatched within one to three business days. Please allow five to 10 business days for your order to arrive.
My bags haven’t arrived. What should I do?
If your bags have not arrived, please email [email protected] with your order number, and we will contact our distributor.
What happens if I cancel my event after ordering bags?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process any refunds or cancellations once an order has been placed and paid. If you need to cancel your event and don’t wish to use the bags, please consider donating them to your local healthcare clinic or community centre for them to distribute during Women’s Health Week.
What if I need to change my shipping address?
If you need to change your shipping address after you have placed an order for bags, please contact us at [email protected] or via 03 9453 8999 within 24 hours of placing your order. Once orders have been processed for delivery, we are unable to make further changes.
I live in a rural community. Can I still order and receive bags?
Bags can be delivered Australia-wide. Just keep in mind that postage costs are higher in regional areas and they may take a little longer to arrive.
